WHAT EXACTLY IS HOLLY BERRY?
In Episode 2, a young Holly Berry first appears. She works as Sophie’s Anglo-Saxon tutor. Sophie is in the same social class as James and has the same rights. She noticed Holly Berry was a good student and decided to take advantage of it.
Sophie persuaded the other girl that they should collaborate and share the program and notes. Sophie, on the other hand, had no intention of studying even her part of the program, as Holly Berry quickly discovered. Read on to find out when Season 2 will be released.
In episode 3, while James is on a court case for allegedly raping his political aide Olivia, an Oxford administrator accuses him of raping Holly Berry during their college years. To Sophie’s surprise, James doesn’t seem to remember who Holly Berry is at first.
However, because he is skilled at deception, he may not be telling the truth. What happened is later revealed. The incident occurred late at night in a dark corner of the university. It was initially consensual, but Holly Berry wanted to stop when James began pushing. He didn’t give up. She had been raped. Holly Berry then left Oxford and is thought to have moved abroad.
IS HOLLY BERRY KATE WOODCROFT?
In episode 4, it is revealed that Holly Berry is Kate Woodcroft, the lawyer who is currently suing James. Holly’s middle name was Kate, and her ex-surname husband was Woodcroft. She carefully concealed her true identity, knowing that if James’ people found out, she would not only be fired, but Olivia might not get the justice she deserves.
Sophie and James are both aware of who she is. Sophie, unlike her husband, finds it difficult to lie. After discovering who Kate is, she finally stops lying to herself about her husband’s nature and orchestrates the Conservative government’s demise.
