Apple Music, Apple’s music streaming platform, could land on PS5 within a few months.
Apple’s streaming platform is accessible on a variety of media. However, the Cupertino company reportedly intends to integrate their Apple Music application, and therefore their platform, to systems that are currently untapped by the company, the consoles. Effectively, thanks to a share from a Reddit user, Apple would develop an Apple Music app for PS5.
DIVERSIFYING THE ACCESSIBILITY OF APPLE MUSIC
Apple Music is present on many media such as smartphones, tablets, not to mention Apple devices. Over the years, connected speaker and HUB brands have partnered with the firm to indirectly offer the platform to their customers. Thus allowing to ask thanks to the voice assistants to play songs from the platform.
The integration of Apple Music on the console would therefore be a first for Apple. Competitors have already taken the plunge, in particular Spotify, which has been available for several years on Microsoft consoles such as the Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S and even on Sony consoles such as the PS4 and PS5.
INCLUDED IN THE PS5 STORE, BUT NOT YET DOWNLOADABLE
As one social network user Reddit reports, the Apple Music app is available on the PS5 store, but not yet downloadable. The latter could therefore be in a few weeks on the Sony platform. Another user speculates that Apple Music could also make its arrival on PS4.
Nothing has been confirmed by Apple yet. However, this would not be surprising especially since the Cupertino company would be developing an Apple Music application for the Microsoft Store of Windows 11 and later versions which would make it available for PCs, but also Microsoft consoles. . The arrival of Apple’s music streaming platform would not be a surprise given that Apple TV + is already available on the PS5.
