IN BLACK PANTHER WAKANDA FOREVER, FIND OUT WHO THE NEW BLACK PANTHER IS!
Disney Plus now has Black Panther! Continue reading to find out who the new Black Panther is!
The new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features both familiar and new faces. However, the trailer, which was shown during Marvel’s presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, only revealed the film’s obvious villain: Namor, the Sub-Mariner, played by Tenoch Huerta.
Despite being one of Marvel’s oldest characters, Namor makes his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, the Black Panther 2 trailer doesn’t reveal much about the underwater ruler.
So, to keep you occupied until Black Panther arrives in theaters on November 11, we tell you more about the film and the new Black Panther!
WHO IS THE BRAND NEW BLACK PANTHER?
At the very end of the Wakanda Forever trailer, a new Black Panther is announced, though his identity remains unknown, with only a portion of his costume and a quick flash of claws seen from behind.
It’s not the case, but it does appear to be a woman wearing the costume, which leaves only two possibilities: Shuri or Nakia (Okoye is unlikely, given her duty to the Dora Milaje and the fact that she appears in several action shots).

Both characters have been speculated as potential successors to Black Panther, but the trailer understandably does not directly confirm this, leaving room for more revelation later.
Shuri has long been rumored to be Wakanda Forever’s new Black Panther, and the trailer certainly confirms that.
The Black Panther 2 trailer is all about legacy and family, so it makes sense for her to take over now when her country is in desperate need of her.
Presumably, by the time of Black Panther 2, or as viewers will see, she will have discovered a way to create a new Black Panther, whether it is herself, Nakia, or someone else.
Nakia is equally qualified to be the new Black Panther: she’s very close to T’Challa, who trusts her, she’s good at fighting, she’s a leader, and she helped her understand that Wakanda needed to open up to the rest of the world.
