The Blue Bloods season 13 premiere will air on CBS in October; want to get a sneak peek at the title?
Executive producer Siobhan Byrne O’Connor announced the premiere title, “Keeping the Faith,” in a new Instagram post today. It’s an episode she co-wrote with fellow EP Kevin Wade, and the name alone raises a few eyebrows.
Is it safe to assume that if faith is going to be a major theme in this episode, Archbishop Kearns will return? On the surface, it appears that it should! We’d welcome it because he’s one of the best foils for Frank out there.
We also wonder if the title refers to characters struggling to maintain their faith in the face of real-world events. Erin Reagan, for example, is operating for District Attorney and will almost certainly face a heated campaign.
There may be times when she wants to give up, but she can’t; this is a mission she’ll see through to the end, or so we hope.
We’re confident that Baez will need to maintain her faith in herself as a new mum; we know there will be challenges, but she’s a deeply caring person, and we believe she’ll be an excellent parent.
Unfortunately, we won’t be getting an official synopsis for this episode till September; however, a new tease or two may appear over the next month! We anticipate that production will begin in July, as it has in previous years.
