WHERE WAS CARTER MADE?
Carter was shot entirely in South Korea, including the province of North Chungcheong. The action-packed thriller’s principal photography took place in June and July 2021. The majority of South Korea’s terrain is mountainous, with the lowlands accounting for roughly 30% of the country’s total area.
The majority of Carter’s key footage was shot in North Chungcheong Province, which is located in South Korea’s Hoseo region. The production team traveled all over the province filming various scenes on appropriate sets.
She settled in the Osong station, 369-1 Bongsan-RI, Osong-up, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, to record some key scenes for the film.
North Chungcheong, also known as Chungbuk, is a mountainous region bordered by the Noryeong Mountains to the north as well as the Sobaek Mountains to the east.
