This was a thrilling episode. We’re glad the episode was able to accomplish it before the season ended because it was everything the show should have always been.
It’s the kind of episode that makes the early episodes’ agony worthwhile.
Since the first episodes of the cruise, the series has been building up to the reward, and despite the bumpy and slow roads there, the reward has been absolutely fantastic.
Even though the season only lasted three months, it felt like the end of a journey that lasted several years.
We saw Kei being taken to Class 1-C’s lair by Ryuuen to be figuratively tortured and blackmailed at the end of the previous episode. The depictions of drowning and beating a helpless human were extremely graphic.
It was a perfect reminder of Kei’s history of bullying and demonstrated how standing with Ayanokoji turned her into a pawn in his schemes.
This episode did an excellent job of carrying on that tale and integrating it into the season’s other tales. Now, we fill you in on all the details surrounding the premiere of Classroom of the Elite season two episode 13.

AT THE END OF THIS WEEK, WHAT HAPPENED?
When only Ibuki and Ryuuen are left at the end of that week, Ayanokouji claims he was mistaken in thinking he had cornered him.
In actuality, Ayanokouji had always wished to take things to a violent conclusion.
Ibuki is asked to confront Ryuuen because he is still acting arrogantly. Unfortunately, she also fails to hit Ayanokouji even once, just like the others before her.
Then, believing that he can easily defeat him, Ryuuen starts to battle him alone. He makes the boast that he has no fear, but Ayanokouji is unconcerned by such arrogance.
He lets Ryuuen punch him repeatedly at one point just to demonstrate his lack of fear for the man.
Soon after, Ayanokouji knocks him to the ground and keeps punching him until he passes out. He chooses to console the brutally tortured Karuizawa after the fight is finally over.
He makes a commitment to always be by his side and to save him in such circumstances.
