IS SEASON 2 OF DELHI CRIME INSPIRED BY A REAL STORY?
That’s right—Delhi Crime is based on a real event. The crimes that are depicted in the crime drama are in fact based on actual crimes. Nevertheless, the version told to the audience is fictionalized in terms of the characters and the timeline even though the story’s core is still rooted in reality.
Vartika Chaturvedi and her team have another grisly crime to solve in Delhi Crime Season 2. This time, attacks on senior citizens in uptown Delhi appear to be the work of a gang that has been active since the late 1980s.
The murders of a real gang called the Kachcha Baniyan gang, also known as the Chaddi Baniyan gang, were the inspiration for the story, even though it was later discovered that the murderers were impersonators. They were so named because they only wore underwear when they committed the crimes.
Since it began operating in 1987, the gang has expanded to the point where it is now suspected in robberies and killings across the nation, particularly in northern India. According to reports, the criminal organization is connected to the Bawariyas, an unregistered tribe.
The gang is notorious for robbing, killing, assaulting, and raping its victims and frequently leaving the crime scene in disrepair. They are known for slathering oil on their bodies in addition to their clothing, which allows them to elude capture if necessary.
The plot of Delhi Crime Season 2 is completely different even though it is based on the gang’s actions and method of operation.
