And here we are, we finally know the launch date of the OnePlus 9RT. The brand will organize a conference on October 13,2021 to present its brand new smartphone. This is a mid-range phone that is unlikely to be available in the European market.
THE ONEPLUS 9RT WILL BE LAUNCHED IN A FEW DAYS
This year, the brand will not release the OnePlus 9T. The teams have focused their efforts on the 9RT version, which will be presented on October 13th. It will be a new version of the OnePlus 9R, a mid-range smartphone that will be released in India and China. Unfortunately, it will not be available in Europe.
The design of the OnePlus 9RT uses the codes of the 9 range, which can even be confused with the OnePlus 9. The smartphone has a 120 Hz AMOLED screen, a 4,500 mAh battery, and a fast charge of 65 watts. It also integrates the Snapdragon 870 or 888 processor. For the photo, it could embed the main sensor of 50 megapixels.
The phone will certainly run on OxygenOS 12. In other words, it will be based on Android 12. Thus, it will be the first OnePlus smartphone to incorporate this overlay.
In short, this mid-range smartphone has several features that suggest it will be a high-end device. For the moment, we do not know the price of the next OnePlus 9RT.
Note that the smartphone will be accompanied by a new model from Buds: the Z2. These are available in white and black. Analysts say the OnePlus 9RT will be the last model in the 9 lineups since the 9T is not in the brand’s plans. Next year, OnePlus will offer a new overlay, unified with that of OPPO, the parent company.
