It is finally possible to share a password and a username using a link on 1Password |
Like many societies, 2020 and 2021 will have been a very special year because of COVID-19. This pandemic has forced some companies to bring features drawn from telecommuting and hybrid work. 1Password is no exception and continues to rise by adding a feature to its roster. The latter allows, like file sharing on Dropbox, to share identifiers and passwords temporarily to a person with a validity date for the security side.
THIS 1PASSWORD DOCUMENT WILL BE DESTROYED IN 1,2,3…
To take the example of the Dropbox system, it is possible to share a document or even a folder with a person using a link generated from the interface. The person who proceeds to the sharing of the said file will notably have the possibility of cutting off the sharing. A feature that improves the exchange of files for work or even in everyday life. On the other hand, 1Password uses a similar feature that will save a lot of people time.
Once the link is shared, the receptionist will simply have to open the link and tap into the information included. The exchanged link will have a validity date of one hour to thirty days. Of course, this will be modifiable when creating the link. In addition to that, there will be no need to create an account to view the link. However, it will require an account if the person sharing the link is doing so with a specific user.
A PRACTICAL AND SECURE SHARING METHOD
With the addition of this feature, 1Password makes sharing easier. This will allow passwords to be shared with coworkers or family members in just a few clicks and without the need to create a special account for it.
