EXPLAINED ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING SEASON 2 ENDING!
Becky was not murdered, as many had assumed. It’s Poppy White, the long-tormented Cinda’s producer.
She ends up drawing Cinda’s attention to “Becky’s disappearance,” which inspires her to create All Is Not OK in Oklahoma, a true-crime podcast, and lands her a job.
With the final episode looming and Cinda ready to blame Bunny’s murder on “Bloody Mabel,” the trio needed to think quickly to find a way to get the killer to confess. Fortunately, they had a backup cast of aspiring actors at the Arconia.

Inviting Cinda as well as Poppy to the event, the group uses everything they have against Cinda to get her to confess that she staged the murder to advance her podcast career, effectively eliminating the competition. Cinda, on the other hand, will not admit it… Mabel then turns around and says it’s because she didn’t.
Mabel blames Alice, who entered their lives shortly after Bunny died, in a big reveal at the end of Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building. Alice killed Bunny out of spite for wanting the expensive Rose Cooper painting that Bunny owned, and the latter wanted nothing less than $14 million to get it. In a fit of rage, Alice stabs Charles, who is bleeding to death on the ground as the cops arrive.
Cinda, moved by Mabel’s discovery of the culprit, apologized for mistaking her for the perpetrator and even offered her the opportunity to host her podcast. Poppy becomes enraged with her boss as a result of being ignored. The truth finally comes out as she sneezes her way through a speech about how she deserved to get the better of Mabel.
Cinda had no idea she was Becky Butler until she realized she had been used to giving Poppy new life and a fresh start. Isn’t it a happy ending for everyone? No, not quite.
A year later, on the night of Oliver’s show premiere, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel reunite. Ben is alone on stage when the show begins, dressed in a trench coat and a peaked hat.
He had barely finished his first sentence when he collapsed, coughing up blood and dying on stage. Everything you need to know about Ben is right here.
Charles and Oliver rush to him, but it’s too late, as well as Mabel realizes that the trio has returned with a new murder to solve after a year of normalcy.
