The news of Malva accusing Jamie of being the father of her child spreads like wildfire throughout Fraser’s Ridge. Claire tries to tell Malva alone about the identity of the real father after realizing that Jamie has nothing to do with her, but she is unable to convince him. Malva is eventually killed, and the mystery surrounding her pregnancy remains unsolved.

Malva is killed by Allan Christie, her half-brother, according to the Outlander Season 6 source novel “A Blast of Snow and Ash.” Malva’s pregnancy is also due to Allan’s fault. He has been abusing her for a long time, and when she becomes pregnant, this horrible secret is almost revealed. Allan uses his clout to persuade Malva to blame Jamie so that he is not harmed by the situation.
Malva initially protects Allan, but she gradually becomes guilty. Malva goes to the Frasers to inform them of Allan’s threat. To protect himself, Allan murders his half-sister. Allan is cunning enough to recognize that leaving Malva’s body on the grounds of Jamie and Claire’s home will lead the other settlers to believe that Jamie and Claire murdered Malva for “exposing” them.
By murdering her, Allan ensures that no one will be able to track him down and discover the truth. As a result, Malva’s murder should have serious ramifications in Claire and Jamie’s lives.
