Get everything you need to know about Symphony in Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 2!
Symphony returned to the picture in this weekend’s Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 2 episode 4.
That was thrilling, but it also makes us wonder about the character’s (played by Toby Sandeman) future in the larger world.
Raq (Patina Miller) has always lived in two worlds, which has been obvious from the beginning.
There is who she is while running her business, and then there is who she is when she tries to live a “normal life.” Consider her relationship with Kanan or her romance with Symphony for much of season 1.
Symphony and Raq were reunited in tonight’s episode, and as much fun as it was to meet them again, Symphony had a request: he didn’t want Raq to call him anymore. Why?
For starters, it hurt far too much — he recognized that there would always be this huge gap between who they were, and he couldn’t handle the constant tug-of-war.
He also had a lovely life — Raq thought of Symphony as a vacation, so although he prefers to be thought of as a home.
She demanded so much of him at the end of season one, and now his eyes have been opened and he’s on a different path.

So, will this be the last we see of this character? We hope not, because we like him and what he contributes to the world.
However, we are also aware that it may be difficult to keep him around if he and Raq both share their current philosophies. Recognize this a story to keep an eye on.
