Grace Van Dien plays Chrissy, and she comes to Stranger Things with experience from another cult Netflix teen series. IN SEASON 4 OF STRANGER THINGS, WHO IS CHRISSY?
Hawkins High School’s head cheerleader appears to have it all. She’s attractive and popular, and she’s dating high school basketball star, Jason Carver. Chrissy is haunted by nightmares caused by the villain Vecna showing her her family’s corpses.
Although we don’t know if it was something she experienced, like other characters who fall victim to Vecna.
It doesn’t matter if it’s something she witnesses. Chrissy dies while attempting to buy drugs from Eddie Munson to avoid the visions. Read on for an explanation of the ending of Part 1 of Season 4.
Chrissy’s ghost looms over the rest of the season, despite her gruesome death at the end of the first episode. Eddie is quickly accused of murdering Chrissy and pursued by the police and the basketball team. An irritated Jason goes insane and releases a cover of Satanic Panic from the 1980s in his honor.
Worse, we see his mutilated body several times behind the scenes, embedded in a pillar of the Vecna fortress.
Oh, and the location of her murder serves as a backstage portal and the setting for the climax of Volume 1’s final episode. It’s unclear whether we’ll get justice for Chrissy until Season 1 never really got back to Barb, but there are still two episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 left. But Chrissy is no longer forgotten. Grace Van Dien portrays Chrissy from Stranger Things! Grace Van Dien made her acting debut in several films, including Army Dog, a family film in which she co-starred with her father.
She is best known for her roles in the original film The Binge, the NBC drama The Village, and the Netflix teen drama Greenhouse Academy.
