Early on, the Man of Steel began to experience unexplainable headaches caused by a creature in the mines. What he didn’t realize was that it was all connected to Lucy, Lois’ sister, and Ally Allston, the woman who manipulates her.
We learned about the existence of the Inverse World, also known as Bizarro World, and Ally’s attempt to merge that reality with Earth-Prime throughout the season.
That’s exactly what the villain attempted to do in the season’s final three episodes, and she almost succeeded thanks to her master plan to render Superman powerless. Read this to learn everything about Season 3’s release.
In the season finale, “Waiting for Superman,” the Man of Steel regained his powers and defeated Ally, rescuing Smallville from Ally’s reign of terror.

EXPLAINED SUPERMAN & LOIS SEASON 2 ENDING!
As Superman & Lois showrunner Todd Helbing promised earlier in the season, Sam Lane explained The Flash and Supergirl’s absence in the Season 2 finale. In the Superman and Lois continuity, none of these characters exist.
Superman has become stronger than ever in the fight against Ally Allston, despite already being one of DC Comics’ most powerful heroes. Clark convinced Adam Rayner’s Tal-Rho to take him into the sun in a risky attempt to reclaim his powers, believing that the solar power would supply his cell lines with the energy needed for a full and immediate recharge.
Clark was able to speed up the process of regaining his powers by doing so. Furthermore, it granted her massive but temporary power, which proved to be too much for Ally to handle. Trying to grasp her abilities overwhelmed her to the point where Clark was able to easily separate her from her Bizarro self.
Steel was surprised by Diggle, David Ramsey’s character, after Ally’s defeat. From what we can tell, Superman & Lois is positioning Intergang as the Season 3 villain. However, given the show’s track record, it wouldn’t be surprising if Intergang turned out to be another red herring used to conceal the next main antagonist.
The conclusion of Superman & Lois Season 2 all but confirmed the theory that Tal-Rho will be Bizarro Superman’s replacement. In the final scene, he arrives at Bizarro World and inquires about Bizarro’s wife Tal-Rho. His decision to relocate to “Weird Smallville” makes sense, given that he is still remembered as the villain who almost took over the world on Superman’s Earth. On Bizarro World, Tal-Rho can start from scratch and replace Bizarro Superman as the planet’s great protector.
The Season 2 finale of Superman & Lois has several significant implications for the Kents’ future adventures. The events of Superman & Lois Season 2 paved the way for nearly every major character to be involved directly in Superman’s next fight.
Superman & Lois season 3 can tell a simplified story than the previous two seasons because there is no need to keep secrets from Chrissy, Sarah, and Lana.
