Even though things have been quiet on the filming front for a while, Gabby and Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette is set to premiere this summer.
For the purposes of this article, we can at least provide some good news on the production front: Gabby and Rachel have already scheduled international dates! This is something that happens a few episodes into most seasons. We know that the health crisis kept everyone from doing it for a while, but just like Clayton Echard’s season, the show is back on the road.
While the tweet below from Mike Fleiss on Twitter (click to see the full image) does not reveal much, it does show that the season is progressing and Gabby and Rachel appear to be content. That’s important because they might need each other to get through this strange, out-of-the-ordinary season of the show. It’s still unclear how everything will play out in terms of format, other than the fact that both of the women will date men and try to find the perfect match. They’ve insisted that the two won’t be competing for guys or that this season won’t be a dumpster fire of that kind of drama, but we’ll have to wait and see.
The most difficult aspect of this season, at least for the time being, is the prospect of having to wait so long to see it. For the time being, it appears that the plan is for it to be released in July, which is a month and a half later than it usually is.
