Get everything you need to know about The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 episode 6!
Huge stuff is coming, in case you weren’t already anticipating The Handmaid’s Tale season 5 episode 6 on Hulu this Wednesday.
The very end of this episode, in particular, might leave you completely shocked and possibly alarmed about the direction the writers will take next.
Why do we know this, then? Elisabeth Moss, the star of the show, who is the only person who truly understands the world of this story, deserves all the credit.
The actress made it clear during a recent interview with Good Morning America that the purpose of episode 6 was to make viewers feel uneasy:
One of the best cliffhangers we’ve ever done is the one at the end of this episode. Every single time I watch it, I want to scream. It’s incredibly tasty.

I can’t wait for people to see it because I know they’ll be left wondering, “What the…?”
So what might be the subject of this cliffhanger? That it has something to do with Luke’s fate is our main worry.
He and June were both captured after the previous episode, possibly by Gilead. According to what we’ve seen in the trailers so far, word eventually finds its way back to Serena, wherever it may be.
She is excited about the possibility of meeting at the end of June, who is her arch-enemy.
From where we are standing, Serena appears to have plenty of other things on her mind right now.
Consider the possibility that she might remain a prisoner at the Wheelers’ home before being abandoned after giving birth. She currently doesn’t even realize how bad her situation is.
