We know Kate’s second wedding will be the focus of next week’s This Is Us season 6 episode 13 on NBC. So, what are the remaining questions? It has a lot to do with what some of the other characters are going through.
Rebecca’s condition appears to be rapidly deteriorating in tonight’s ad for “Day of the Wedding.” Kevin’s weekend date, on the other hand, remains a bit of a mystery. Despite our previous hopes and expectations, it doesn’t appear to be Madison, so who might it be? Is Sophie a viable option?
We know Alexandra Breckenridge’s character has been in another relationship in the past, so we can’t say with certainty that she and Kevin are ready to reignite their romance – yet again. She does, however, appear to be planning on attending the aforementioned wedding. Chrissy Metz confirms this in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
They’ve been attempting to re-establish their friendship, and she will, indeed, be present. It’s only that we have no idea who she’ll be with.
Given that Sophie attended the engagement party, it’s unlikely that she won’t attend the wedding. Nonetheless, we consider this information to be really beneficial. Kevin still has a lot of love options open to him, and we suppose it’s feasible that he ends up with no one. After all, he’s already stated that his children may be the love of his life.
