Einar contemplates killing Thorfinn as he sleeps, unaware of his friend’s inner turmoil. He then slowly approaches Thorfinn while glaring down next to him, slowly strangling him.
He eventually starts screaming and moaning violently in his sleep after killing someone who seems to be an ordinary civilian, even though the battle itself is traumatic.
Einar sits strangely facing away from Thorfinn, struggling with his nightmare and trying not to see him so helpless. He wakes up his friend eventually to put an end to his suffering.
Einar appears to have changed his mind and is showing some remorse for his friend instead of killing him. Thorfinn reportedly told Einar earlier that day that there was no point in living. Einar recalled this. He continued by saying he had never been content to be alive.
But Einar points out that despite the horrifying circumstances they occasionally encounter, they are at least fortunate enough to communicate with one another, eat, and sleep soundly.

WHAT DATE AND TIME WILL VINLAND SAGA SEASON 2 EPISODE 5 BE AVAILABLE ON NETFLIX?
There is no longer much of a wait! Netflix has scheduled the release of The Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 5 for February 6, 2023.
Episode 5 of Season 2 of Vinland Saga will be available on Netflix in the USA at 9:00 a.m. for the impatient!
WHAT CAN WE AVOID UPCOMING?
It will be interesting to see what Snake does once she learns about Thorfinn’s abilities. Nothing, however, could be more intriguing than Canute’s comeback.
Thorfinn attacked Canute the last time we saw him. The Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 5 will confirm our suspicion that Canute is why Thorfinn is a slave.
When we see Canute, we assume that Thorkill is following closely. Even though we don’t yet know what Canute does, it wouldn’t surprise us if he frequently travels with Thorkill.
