“Is That All There Is?” is the title of Winning Time’s second episode. Buss’ attempt to instill a new mindset at the Lakers is the center of the film. His quirky nature will force the squad to undergo significant adjustments, and not everyone will be pleased.
Coach Jerry West is obviously displeased that Johnson was signed when the team already has a capable playmaker in Norm Nixon. Buss, on the other hand, may try to mend fences by giving West entire control over the team’s style of play and practices.
Meanwhile, Claire and Jeanie are expected to revamp the team’s appearance and expand the Lakers brand. They may not, however, agree on where the team should move. Plus, in Episode 2 of Winning Time, we might get a taste of the long-running rivalry between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers!
