We’ve known for a while that Young Sheldon season 5 would conclude on Thursday, May 19 on CBS. Now we have a little more information on what we can expect to see in the finale!
First and foremost, we should express our deep concern for the show and some of its characters. There are so many references to The Big Bang Theory that we haven’t seen yet. We’ll be waiting with a pit in our stomach as long as that’s the case. Maybe they’ll happen at the end of this season, or maybe we’ll have to wait until the start of season 6 to see some of them. We know there will be more episodes, so there is no immediate cause for concern about the world’s long-term future.

“A Clogged Pore, a Little Spanish, and the Future” – Sheldon struggles with puberty, Mary and George Sr. both look for new jobs, and Georgie and Meemaw travel across the border on business.
There’s nothing in here that feels like it’s going to turn the show’s or these characters’ worlds upside down, but that’s probably the point. The longer the writers can linger on certain mysteries, the more likely they believe it is for them to create a big moment in the end.
